Each year, Â鶹´«Ã½ recognizes the students who graduate with the top GPA in the class. Hazel Jones graduated from GHC in 2025 with a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Political Science with Jenel Cope, or General Biology with Tim Plagge
What are your future educational and/or career plans?
Next fall I am attending the University of Idaho to study Animal Science with a pre-vet focus and in the future, I hope to either work at a vet clinic or use those skills in a farming setting.
Do you have any advice for future students?
Do your work as early as possible, ask lots of questions of your professors, especially if you don’t understand, and take classes that you are interested in and you can use throughout your life.
Is there anyone you would like to recognize for their support?
Thank you to Jenel Cope, Jaime Reino, and Timothy Plagge for teaching your subjects honestly and passionately. I learned great information and many life lessons from your classes. And to Lori Christmas for your dedicated compassion and energy to help each Running Start Student succeed.
