GHC Athletics: NWAC Golf League Match
The Â鶹´«Ã½ Men's and Women's Golf teams will be hosting the NWAC Golf League match on April 10-11.
The Men's team plays at Highland Golf Course in Cosmopolis, WA with tee times starting at 9:30 am on Sunday, April 10 and an 8:30 am shotgun start on Monday, April 11. Competing colleges are: Â鶹´«Ã½, North Idaho, Southwestern Oregon, Skagit Valley, Spokane CC, Olympia College, Columbia Basin College, and Bellevue College. The competition is 4 low scores of 6 players per day. Â鶹´«Ã½ is at a bit of a disadvantage with this format due to only having 4 players (all scores will count).
The Women's team plays at Grays Harbor Country Club in the Central Park area of Aberdeen, WA with a 12:00 pm shotgun start on Sunday, April 10 and a 9:00 am shotgun start on Monday, April 11. Competing colleges are: Â鶹´«Ã½, North Idaho, Southwestern Oregon, Skagit Valley, Spokane CC, Olympia College, Columbia Basin College, Bellevue College, Centralia College, and Highline College. The competition is 3 low scores of 6 players per day.
Spectators are welcome at both locations.
The format of the NWAC Season: There are four NWAC league matches during the season. Points are earned in each match based on how many teams your team finishes ahead of to determine the league champions. At the conclusion of the season will be the conference championship, which will be held at Apple Tree Golf Course in Yakima in May.
